Our Mission

The Finnish American Chamber of Commerce on the Pacific Coast, Inc. (FACC Pacific) serves as the premier vehicle for business networking and information exchange within the Finnish-American community in California.

Our primary focus is to provide a networking society for Finnish and American members in California. The network consists of the Finnish business community based in California and the local American companies with business interests in Finland. We organize networking, cultural, and social events, publish an e-newsletter, and promote Finnish-American business by hosting this website. Membership is open for all, individuals as well as corporations.

FACC Pacific also works in close collaboration with other Finnish-American organizations, as well as the Consulate General of Finland to facilitate information exchange and to foster the Finnish-American community in California.

Programs & Activities

FACC Pacific sponsors a wide range of events to showcase the best of Finnish and Finnish-American products and services. We also arrange other special programs that advance the understanding of the Finnish business culture including cultural and social events, visits to local businesses, and presentations on specific topics of interest.

Our electronic newsletter, published bi-monthly, features Finnish-American events, businesses and organizations in California and reaches about 1,500 readers. Finnish-American events and businesses are also promoted on this website. See the Marketplace and Events sections for more details.

Membership

Membership in the FACC Pacific Coast is open to all individuals and organizations interested in building economic and cultural partnerships between Finland and the United States. The FACC Pacific Coast provides its members with on-going opportunities to meet other individuals and firms involved in Finnish-American business relations.
